Heather Cupp is a Licensed Professional Counselor from Houston. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown and her Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health from  Sam Houston State University.

Heather has experience with outpatient programs as well as intensive outpatient programs such as group therapy with individuals with various struggles such as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, and Personality Disorders. Heather also has experience with working with individuals with autism, trauma and anxiety. Her approach to therapy is an eclectic in nature and she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Dialectical Behavior Strategies, and play in therapy.

Heather believes that counseling is not a one size fits all approach but rather tailored to the needs of the client. She tries to ensure a safe and comfortable environment that will help encourage wellness and better understanding of one’s behaviors and thoughts.
