Erin is a EMDR-Trained Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with an emphasis on a client-centered approach. She received a Bachelor’s of Applied Arts and Sciences degree, with a focus in Rehabilitation and Psychology from the University of North Texas and later pursued her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas Woman’s University. Erin is also a graduate of the accredited Training for Adoption Competency.
Erin is passionate about working with clients who have been affected by addiction and individuals experiencing adoption related issues. She also has experience working with adults navigating through life changes, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma and low self-esteem. Erin believes a strong therapeutic rapport is where it starts. Her goal is to create a safe space for her clients where they can be open and feel heard. Erin utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in her work.
