Emma Jackson is a Graduate Level Intern at Texas Woman’s University, where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arkansas. Emma is especially interested in play therapy and working with children, and she is equally excited to support adolescents and adults in navigating their own unique life experiences. She brings warmth, empathy, and a deep respect for each client’s story into the counseling relationship. Emma views counseling as a collaborative journey—she does not see herself as the leader, but as a fellow traveler walking alongside clients through the challenges of life. She believes the counseling process can be difficult and even painful at times, and she is committed to offering support through the growing pains that often accompany healing and change. Her clinical interests include life transitions, existential concerns, people-pleasing, personal growth, and self-exploration. Emma draws from an existential framework to help clients explore meaning, build insight, and connect more deeply with themselves and others.
