Addie Woodworth is a graduate intern pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas Woman’s University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University where she developed a strong foundation in understanding human growth, relationships, and the factors that shape emotional wellbeing across the lifespan.
Addison is passionate about supporting both children and adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and other challenges that can leave individuals feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. She believes that every person has a unique story, and she strives to create a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences.
Rooted in Existential Psychotherapy, Addison’s therapeutic approach emphasizes helping clients discover meaning, cultivate authenticity, and develop resilience in the face of life’s uncertainties. She recognizes that healing is not about eliminating discomfort, but about fostering self-awareness, strengthening relationships, and creating a life that aligns with each client’s values and goals. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, Addison approaches each individual with respect, authenticity, and the belief that meaningful change is possible.”
