
Meghan Blake is a Graduate Level Intern currently completing her degree in Clinical Mental Health at the University of North Texas. She was born and raised in Texas and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Texas State University. She is passionate about working with children as well as adults who have experienced childhood trauma or currently struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, life transitions, and other areas of life. Meghan has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as play therapy. She operates from Person-Centered Theory and believes that people are constantly trying to grow and develop into a better sense of self. She believes people can discover their true self through the counseling process, and that the counselor is there to provide unconditional support for the person’s growth.
