Jordan is a Graduate Level Intern at Texas Woman’s University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin College. Jordan believes that each child, teen, and adult is worthy of respect in and out of the counseling room and strives to create an environment where each client feels safe to be authentically themselves. Her areas of interest include Play Therapy, grief, family conflict, trauma, and setting healthy, working boundaries. Jordan utilizes a person-centered approach, which emphasizes the inherent value of each individual and strives to provide them with unconditional positive regard. She aims to see the client as a whole person, deserving of respect and care. Regardless of a client’s age, Jordan believes that counseling work is difficult and important, and aims to walk alongside her clients as they take the next step in better understanding themselves.
