Anastasia Pyz is a Graduate Intern currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas. Anastasia earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is passionate about helping people achieve holistic wellness by addressing the interconnected aspects of spiritual, physical, and mental health.
Utilizing a Gestalt perspective, Anastasia emphasizes the importance of self-awareness, personal responsibility, and integrating various parts of oneself to achieve holistic health. Her goal as a counselor is to work collaboratively with clients to identify and fulfill their needs, journey through self-discovery, and develop greater authenticity in their lives.
Anastasia aims to create a warm and accepting environment where clients feel safe to explore and discover different parts of themselves. In this space, no topic is off-limits, and no challenge is too great. Together, clients can overcome past trauma, work towards their life goals, and blossom into the best version of themselves.
